JOB SUMMARY:
Manages, develops updates, & creates new functionality for admissions office systems including Slate & Ellucian Banner. Participate in data security & reporting initiatives. Works as part of the Enrollment Management team of Business Analysis. Delivers training and instruction on appropriate systems. Serves as liaison with vendors. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Systems Analyst and Administrator:
Optimizes Clemson's development and use of Banner(SIS) and Slate (CRM). Maintains and performs regular updates to admissions application tools. Serves as a business analyst, Slate Captain, and administrator of all admissions operational systems, including coordinating upgrade testing, payments, security, trouble shooting, and ad-hoc reporting.
25% - Essential - Data Management:
Directs the flow of data in Slate and Banner to facilitate recruitment, communication, application management, and general advancement of new solutions. Participates in continuous improvement efforts by identifying process and user needs, researching potential solutions and assisting with the implementation of new processes and systems. Builds and maintains data integrations between both internal and external systems.
25% - Essential - Business Analytics:
Provides business analysis regarding office processes and the use of various web tools and software applications by having an understanding of data and the admissions process.
10% - Essential - Training:
Guides the training and instruction of new and current employees on Slate and Banner systems, including the development of training materials and business process documentation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree
Experience - Related experience; SQL experience preferred

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range ($ 46,655.00 - $ 63,395.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
