JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Business Officer in a team-centered environment, serve as a resource for The College of Science faculty and staff providing accounts payable and receivable support to assigned unit(s).
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Performs daily accounting duties including Concur (P-card liaison & travel), BuyWays (requisitioner/invoice handler), and CU Foundation (CUF) vouchers in a prompt and accurate manner that is in compliance with Federal, State, and CU or CUF policies and procedures. Process reimbursements to visitors for travel or other reimbursable expenditures in a prompt and accurate manner.
30% - Essential - Perform accounting duties related to external web invoicing & processing deposits in a prompt and accurate manner. Prepares transmittal for deposit into CUF projects.
20% - Essential - Provides general inquiry assistance to employees on the use of the Concur and/or buyWays system as well as policies and procedures. Inquiries for detailed budget information or analysis should be referred to the appropriate Financial Analyst or Post Awards Accountant.
10% - Essential - Maintain audit compliant expenditure and revenue/receipt files for review, reconciliation, or audit. Stay abreast of policies and procedures related to the assigned duties through the CU policies and procedures web pages, Procurement web site, email alerts received on changes, training on-line or in person, or updates and guidance provide by the college business office or the college post-awards office.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - High School or Equivalent
Work Exp 2+ years
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, finance, or business management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
80% - Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period
50% - Ascend or descend (i.e. stairs, ladder)
100% - Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself
100% - Perceive, observe, clarity of vision

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Anticipated Salary Range:($ 45,300.00 - $ 52,147.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
