The Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine at Clemson University (PCVM) seeks a multifaceted professional who is passionate about animal welfare and skilled in both clinical and hands-on care. The Animal Care Specialist role primarily focuses on ensuring the health and comfort of a variety of animals within the CVM teaching and care facilities. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and safety of animal housing environments to meet the Animal Welfare Act standards, assisting during clinical instruction and research data collection, while collaborating with Clemson University farm managers and CVM veterinary team to ensure high standards of animal care, regulatory compliance, and facility operations. Performs other duties as assigned.

The PCVM is recruiting to fill multiple vacancies for this role.

Title:    Web Developer (Clemson University, 110 Heisman St, Fike Recreation Center, Suite 309, Clemson, SC, 29630)

Duties:

? Develops digital, web based, communications and experience solutions for student communication related projects. Designs and manages web-based products for student communication stakeholders including the Division of Student Affairs (DOSA), Marketing and Communications, and academic partners as requested. Working in collaboration with divisional team members, based on project specifications, provides expertise in development of multimedia products that include website management, email, microsites and other applications as assigned.

? Conceptualizes and designs the layout of templates for DOSA managed web pages & e-publishing, HTML email solutions, and stand-alone microsites using a variety of software, techniques, and tools. Serves as a primary web content manager within Student Affairs in Cascade CMS to update assigned web content for Division of Student Affairs pages, including 13 department websites and 1k+ pages. Supports student communication initiatives within Marketing and Communications Division channels as requested.

? Maintains, enhances, and optimizes website functionality using scripting languages such as JavaScript and PHP to improve user engagement and performance. Stays up to date with technological advancements to evaluate, recommend, and implement modern tools, frameworks, libraries, and best practices. Serves as a technical lead in assessing and implementing new web systems or software adapted by the University, particularly within the Division of Student Affairs and its constituent departments. Provides training and ongoing support to nontechnical staff responsible for managing departmental websites.

? Implements and manages analytical tools to support the functionality and management of digital-based channels for success. Analyzes data, identifies patterns, relationships, and trends and communicates actionable insights and findings from the data to stakeholders, which can influence policy and decision-making processes for the Division of Student Affairs (DOSA) and Marketing and Communications.

Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or closely related Engineering field (including Electronics Engineering) or foreign equivalent, plus 2 years? experience as a Multimedia and Software Developer (or any occupation where required experience maybe gained) with specific experience in designing and developing user experience solutions and designing new software solutions and test in beta format.
