JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Data Analytics Manager works with senior-level administration and directs data analyses within Clemson University Division of Marketing and Communications (MARCOM) to provide insight into effective marketing, advertising and media coverage. Provides decision support through descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analysis. Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

 

40% - Essential - Data Systems Development:
Responsible for the coordination of complex analytical projects. Responsible for benchmarking key performance indicators throughout MARCOM. Provides the highest level of project/analytical proficiency to assist in making strategic decisions and enforcing strategic direction for projects.
20% - Essential - Research and Reporting:
Manages the research and development of enterprise reports and processes of various complexities, utilizing key analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tableau. Provides project/data management consultation for all aspects of the design, development and implementation of project/analyses across the organization. Prepares and presents analyses to all levels of Development. Extracts, manipulates, analyzes, interprets, and documents large datasets.
20% - Essential - Statistical Analyses:
Uses complex statistical analysis to strategize high risk decisions. Performs predictive analysis resulting in expanded marketing, advertising and media coverage opportunities for Clemson University.
20% - Essential - Project Management/Operations:
Delivers proficiency in data collection efforts. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of reports and analysis. Collaborates with other departments to share important information and increase awareness of relevant data.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education -  Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience - 5+ years - 

Preferred - Google Analytics certified and Tableau certified

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

 

Expected Salary Range: $ 56,210.00 - $ 77,929.00
 

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

 

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
