ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - NIERI DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

The Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development (NCRED) in the College of Architecture, Art and Construction (CAAC) at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with the anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will:

· Develop and sustain a rigorous, externally funded research program in areas that support and advance the mission of the department and the broader built environment. Preferred research areas include, but are not limited to:  *Structural systems and design integration  *Materials science and building material technologies  *3D printing and additive manufacturing in construction  *Virtual and augmented reality applications for construction  *Emerging construction technologies

· Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Construction Science and Management (CSM) curriculum

· Contribute to department, college, university, and external service activities

· Engage with industry and professional communities to support outreach and collaboration.
