JOB SUMMARY:

Clemson University's Advancement Division is looking for Manager - Gift Administration & Operations to fulfill the following duties:

  • Serves as Manager of Gift Administration & Operations for the Central Development Team (CDT), supporting the Senior Associate Vice President in the efficient implementation of estate gift administration, budgeting, and high-level team operations. 
  • This role oversees operational processes, procedures, logistics, and reporting for the Central Development Team, providing support in team operations, reporting and analytics, and pipeline development. 
  • Additionally, it serves as the events team liaison for the football invitation process and handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

35% - Essential - Gift & Estate Administration: 
Assist the Senior Associate Vice President in securing and administering estate gifts designated for Clemson. Collaborate closely with University and Foundation partners to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Serve as a liaison for the Gift & Estate Planning Program with prospects, donors, and their legal and financial advisors. Prepare complex endowment and gift status reports for donors and administrators. Support legacy society engagement and donor outreach efforts, including Legacy Day and related engagements.
20% - Essential - Reporting and Budget:
Oversight: Produce accurate performance reporting on a weekly basis to key stakeholders in CDT and Advancement leadership. Actively engage in prospect management efforts related to interactions, opportunities and other performance related metrics for the team. Generates reports and analyze data related to budget and expenses to ensure accuracy and reconciliation.
20% - Essential - University Deferred Gifts Inventory Coordination: 
Partner with the Senior Associate Vice President to ensure all required documentation is received from development officers and donors. Coordinate with Clemson University Foundation partners and Advancement team members to formally record all deferred gift commitments. Serve as a resource for processing and tracking future gift commitments and pledges within the database. Ensure documentation is accurate and high level of confidentiality is maintained at all times.
15% - Essential - Team Operations: 
Plan and execute monthly team meetings and bi-annual retreats for CDT. Coordinate with the talent management team for any recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees, training and performance management processes on behalf of the CDT and hiring teams. Administer approval process and team calendar for timekeeping and leave submission.  Coordinate communications and other processes for the team to keep everyone informed and aligned
10% - Essential - Football Suites: 
Coordinates the identification process, waitlists, game day credentials and other gameday logistics during the 7 home football games each season. Create and maintain the CDT process, timeline, and criteria for the team's allocation for President's Suite invitations/tickets. Communicate and train team members on the procedure and provide ongoing guidance and consultation as needed. Compile and maintain the master invitation list and track RSVPs received against CDT ticket allocation. Serves as a crucial bridge between CDT and Events ensuring effective communication and execution of the Football invitation process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education -  Bachelor's Degree 

Experience - Customer Service, Project Management; Office Operations

Standard Hours: 37.5 Hours / Week

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Expected Salary Range: $ 52,100.00 - $ $ 65,000.00

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
