JOB SUMMARY:
Provide operational leadership in communication and marketing strategy for recruitment, enrollment, financial aid and new student transition aligned with University initiatives and the strategic plan. Design and implement a strategic, goal-based, data-driven recruitment marketing plan. Develop content for various formats throughout the student journey. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
35% - Essential - Strategic Planning and Management:
Provide operational leadership in communication and marketing strategy for recruitment, enrollment, financial aid, and new student transition through initiatives that are contemporary, on brand message, relevant, and serve to provide greater visibility of the university to prospective students. Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan for prospective students, applicants, admitted students, and enrolling students and their supporters. Establish and maintain close relationships with unit-level staff to leverage collaboration and partnership opportunities for communication efforts. Help academic colleges, divisions and departments across campus build strategic marketing and communication plans to meet their enrollment goals within the university's overall recruitment and enrollment strategy. Serve as a senior communications advisor to Enrollment Management leadership, shaping key messages, strategic priorities, and crisis communications.
35% - Essential - Marketing:
Design and implement a strategic, goal-based, data-driven recruitment marketing plan in alignment with the prospective student journey lifecycle and University marketing goals. Execute the plan across multiple channels, including print, website, social media, e-mail, advertising, and other digital platforms. Serve as a recruitment and enrollment subject matter expert for MarCom and University leadership, helping cultivate data-driven practices to enroll a diverse and high-achieving student body. Conduct market research and execute efforts to deliver effective, relevant communication to prospective students and other stakeholders. Track key performance metrics (engagement, applications, yield, etc.) to continuously assess and enhance communication effectiveness.
30% - Essential - Content Development - : Develop content for various formats including print, presentations, digital, web, email and social media, serving various stakeholders and audiences throughout the prospective student journey. Ensure recruitment messaging is cohesive, audience-centered and aligned across all channels. Collaborate with MarCom partners to develop creative communications concepts that reinforce Clemson¿s goals and positively influence perceptions of Clemson with external constituents.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree - experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
Work Experience- 3+ years
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Master's Degree
Work Experience - 5+ years

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Expected Salary Range: $ 66,400.00 - $ 95,000.00
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
