Clemson University invites applications for a FT 9-month tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to start August 16, 2025.
Responsibilities include serving as director of the University Orchestras and teaching in a secondary area dependent upon candidate qualifications and department need. The successful candidate will participate fully in departmental activities including recruiting, advising, hearing auditions and juries, attending recitals, concerts, and recruiting events, and working collaboratively with faculty members from the theatre and audio areas in the Performing Arts major. A successful candidate will have the ability and desire to conduct Music Theater ensembles and demonstrate potential to teach graduate courses in the department’s summer-only Master of Music Education.
