Director of Assessment and Educational Interventions
JOB SUMMARY:Leads of culture of evidence-based decision making and accountability across the Division of Community, Engagement, Belonging and Access. Assists division management with advancing institutional effectiveness associated with division pillars. Provides leadership, coordination and strategic planning for education interventions aimed at increasing the entire university's capacity for creating inclusive communities and environments for all constituents. Engages in strategic efforts related to the Division of Community, Engagement, Belonging and Access, overseeing program and learning evaluation. Coordinates assessment of all efforts, namely comprehensive Campus Climate Research of students. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES:50% - Essential - Planning and assessment: Leads division-wide efforts in using best practices for assessment. Enhances departmental understanding of roles in advancing division-wide strategic initiatives. Develops strategies to assess the degree to which campus constituents find community and access vital components of the university experience necessary for success. Advises departments in designing qualitative and quantitative assessment plans for initiatives outside of the classroom. Applies relevant standards leading to program and service improvements. Identifies programs that provide sources for benchmarking data. Ensures the Division meets institutional requirements and expectations related to assessment. Oversees the effective and efficient use of Division assessment tools.
