The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position starting with the Fall 2023 semester. The position is targeted toward individuals with expertise in probability and/or applied probability, but all areas in probability and statistics will be considered. Targeted recruiting is at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.

The Division of Statistics and Operations Research within the SMSS is comprised of the research groups of data science, operations research, and probability and mathematical statistics. Many faculty members within this division collaborate with faculty from the Division of Mathematics, which includes the research groups of algebra and discrete mathematics, computational mathematics, and pure and applied analysis. The school offers the full range of Baccalaureate, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees.
