The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences at Clemson University is seeking to fill a 12-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (50% research 50% Extension) to work on horticultural crops of economic importance to South Carolina. The position is located at Clemson University’s Edisto Research & Education Center (EREC), Blackville, South Carolina (https://www.clemson.edu/cafls/research/edisto). EREC is a 2,356-acre tract of land situated in Blackville, South Carolina. The Center is an integral part of Clemson University's Public Service activities including the Agricultural Research and Forestry system, the Precision Agriculture Program, and the Cooperative Extension Service. Scientists at the EREC include agricultural engineers, an entomologist, a horticulturalist, agronomists, and plant pathologists working in field crops and commercial horticulture.
